RapidFire Shutter App Reviews

Good App - Need more info for some users

Great App, custom settings are found under iPhone settings menu, which is not clear at first. Opening app starts the camera right away. Can be set to vibrate upon each capture so when holding to ear etc. You know when it is snapping shots. Most apps like this fail to let you control frequency so this is a nice option! I recommend!

Great App.

Great app. would be great to see the more of this kind of app.

Settings...

Accessing the settings from within the app is counter to the fact that its hiding I wont be updating.

garbage

Comes with no instructions. Does not mute shutter sound. Useless!

Fun and clever

I installed the app today and already found many used for it- surprising how useful it is to take pics without people knowledge! The ability to adjust the settings both within the app or from the iPhone menu is a great feature and the "map" disguise actually functions and pinpoints my location. A worthwhile use of my $0.99!

Disappointing - waste of money

Disappointed. No apparent trigger. Doesnt take pictures when launched. A bit flaky in that regard. Separate download folder doesnt restore when deleted. No easy way to delete pictures. iOS 8. Thumbs down.

Fun!

This app is awesome. So much fun to show people pics that they didnt know you took. Little creepy but fun! Lol

what is the use of this app?

Yes it is Rapid but when I could not see anything but Black screen, how can I focus on object?

Rubbish

The app opened to allow me to adjust some settings and that was the last time it opened. Im using iOS 9

Cool app

cool app, but the shutter sound is still there, an option to modify the interval would be awesome.

Best secret camera app

I tried Auto-Camera and SneakyPix before settling on this app. Auto-Camera took at least seven clicks to start taking photos. SneakyPix only saved images in the lowest resolution. Neither app blanked the screen while taking photos. This app takes high resolution photos faster than any other, and it blanks the screen. Better yet, it starts right in to taking photos when its launched. No messing around. Perfect for when my friends start doing something stupid (Knowing my friends, I have a feeling this app will get lots of use).

Need to be able to turn off flash

This app automatically turns on the flash on the iPhone 4 if the light in the room is a little dim. Hardly a good way to take a secret photo! I like it very much otherwise, but I wont actually use it until this issue is fixed.

Flash Ruins the app

If the room is even dim the flash starts going off- fix it asap- until Then the app is a 1 star

JUNK ***DONT BUY***

I want a complete refund, I am sick and tired of amateurs trying to pretend thay are developers. On the iPhone 4 NOTHING, only a blank screen. A rating of one is too high but thats the lowest we are allowed.

Shutter noise.

Definitely makes a shutter noise. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Buggy after last update

UPDATE2: Finally fixed. App is back to AWESOME! UPDATE: Lowering to two-stars, since this app is all kinds of broken after 4.3 update. App closes itself randomly, app fails to take pics randomly, as well as app REQUIRES a "force-close" after EACH use.

Ipad2 not working

This is not useable on the ipad2. The settings are not saved unless you power off then on. Then it only works once until you power off again. When it does work the screen is not black but the full camera view finder and then it only works for a short time. I really hope the developer gets this working its a great idea.

Have to reboot app after each use.

Thought this would be fixed after the most recent update...I was wrong. Have to reboot the app after each use. Irritating!! Update: LOL, updated to the latest version and still only work sometimes. Have to reboot the app after each use. Come on!! Cant this be fixed??

Updates fixed bugs

I just wanted to let the records show that the past few updates have fixed all the bugs youll see mentioned in the reviews. FYI — it does not use flash which is good for covert photography. This is a solid app and the best one for what it is designed for. The only issue I see is that "Turbo Mode" is vague and lacks an explanation. I would like to know the details of this mode.

iPad issues

Doesnt hide, and when smart cover closes it stops, and when in the back ground also stops. Good photos though. To work around, turn of smart cover control and close the cover so your screen is not seen.
