Ever wished you could capture pictures without fussing around with camera settings? Well, Rapid Fire is on your side. Simply launch Rapid Fire and it will immediately begin taking pictures (or recording video) as quickly as it can or at a configurable frequency. Leave your phone and take pictures without having to run back between poses and set the timer.
Unlike other similar apps, Rapid Fire goes straight to business with no camera animations. Rapid Fire also comes built-in with 4 different multitasking modes so you can take photos uninterrupted while you surf the web or navigate with maps. Perfect for timelapses.
Rapid Fire now also offers Document Sharing mode. When this mode is enabled, captured image(s) will be saved to the Shared Documents folder instead of cluttering your camera roll. These images can later be retrieved and viewed using iTunes on your home computer.
Pros and cons of RapidFire Shutter app for iPhone and iPad
RapidFire Shutter app good for
Great App, custom settings are found under iPhone settings menu, which is not clear at first. Opening app starts the camera right away. Can be set to vibrate upon each capture so when holding to ear etc. You know when it is snapping shots. Most apps like this fail to let you control frequency so this is a nice option! I recommend!
Great app. would be great to see the more of this kind of app.
I installed the app today and already found many used for it- surprising how useful it is to take pics without people knowledge! The ability to adjust the settings both within the app or from the iPhone menu is a great feature and the "map" disguise actually functions and pinpoints my location. A worthwhile use of my $0.99!
This app is awesome. So much fun to show people pics that they didnt know you took. Little creepy but fun! Lol
cool app, but the shutter sound is still there, an option to modify the interval would be awesome.
I tried Auto-Camera and SneakyPix before settling on this app.
Auto-Camera took at least seven clicks to start taking photos. SneakyPix only saved images in the lowest resolution. Neither app blanked the screen while taking photos.
This app takes high resolution photos faster than any other, and it blanks the screen.
Better yet, it starts right in to taking photos when its launched. No messing around. Perfect for when my friends start doing something stupid (Knowing my friends, I have a feeling this app will get lots of use).
Some bad moments
Accessing the settings from within the app is counter to the fact that its hiding I wont be updating.
Comes with no instructions. Does not mute shutter sound. Useless!
Disappointed. No apparent trigger. Doesnt take pictures when launched. A bit flaky in that regard. Separate download folder doesnt restore when deleted. No easy way to delete pictures. iOS 8. Thumbs down.
Yes it is Rapid but when I could not see anything but Black screen, how can I focus on object?
The app opened to allow me to adjust some settings and that was the last time it opened. Im using iOS 9
If the room is even dim the flash starts going off- fix it asap- until
Then the app is a 1 star
